All eyes will be on the quarterback position for the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason. After two underwhelming seasons from former first-round pick Kenny Pickett, the Steelers rode the right arm of Mason Rudolph into the playoffs in the season’s final three weeks.

Mike Tomlin addressed the quarterback situation, both of Pickett and Rudolph, saying Pickett will be back, but outside competition will be brought in.

Tomlin also said that he hopes to have Mason Rudolph back in 2024, but that he is a free agent and they will have to see where that process takes him and the team.

While we don’t know who the outside competition will be, we now know that there will an outside quarterback brought in via free agency or trade.
