The Pittsburgh Steelers officially took the lead 14-7 with a 71-yard house call from quarterback Mason Rudolph to wide receiver Diontae Johnson.

Per NFL Next Gen Stats, it was a 16-yard dart from Rudolph, which Johnson took another 55 yards for the score. It marked Rudolph’s 16th completion of the game, with the longest pass attempt before that being a 13-yard gain to tight end Pat Freiermuth.

Johnson went the entire 2022 NFL season without a touchdown, despite playing a full 17 games. Week 18’s touchdown marked Johnson’s fifth of 2023. One of them has come from starting quarterback Kenny Pickett, while three have come from Mitch Trubisky and now another from Rudolph.
