Pittsburgh Steelers’ star edge rusher T.J. Watt will miss “a couple weeks” with a Grade Two MCL sprain, Gerry Dulac reports.

Watt went down after attempting to deflect a Tyler Huntley pass, landing awkwardly on his left leg and immediately falling to the turf. He was in evident pain, as he repeatedly punched the ground and several teammates took a knee around him. Watt was able to walk off the field with the assistance of Steelers’ medical personnel, where he went to the blue medical tent and then the locker room. The initial tests reportedly showed a Grade Three sprain to the MCL, and Watt attempted to go back in the game, but the Steelers refused.

Should Pittsburgh make the playoffs, it looks like they will be without their top player, and team MVP. In order for them to get their in the first place, though, they’ll need either the Jacksonville Jaguars or Buffalo Bills to lose.
