Steelers 2-Minute Drill: Too early to judge free agent signings

In this week's 'Steelers 2-Minute Drill', Neal Coolong, editor of BTSC, tells Steelers fans it's too early to judge the free-agent signings made by the organization this off-season.

On this edition of the 'Steelers 2-Minute Drill', Neal Coolong, editor of BTSC, tells fans everywhere why it's too early to judge the players the Steelers acquired in free agency.

Although players like Lance Moore, who has yet to play a down in the regular season, Cam Thomas and Mike Mitchell certainly are not helping the team win, it might be time to give the new players some time to get acclimated before considering these moves to be downright ill-advised.

The Steelers have a lot of games left to iron out deficiencies in their starting roster, as well as to get the newly-acquired players accustomed to their new surroundings.

As Coolong points out, when the first two games are five days apart, some bumps in the road were expected. Now the team looks to iron out some of those bumps by playing the Carolina Panthers on Sunday Night Football.
