Steelers Podcast: Is Landry Jones truly nothing more than a third stringer?

New, comments

The Pittsburgh Steelers are on their bye, but that doesn't mean 'Fact or Fiction' is taking time off. Take a listen to Bryan and Zach in their latest episode.

What a way to start your week than with an hour of sound talking about nothing but Pittsburgh Steelers. Why listen to boring jargon about other NFL teams, when all you want to hear is talk about the black and gold?! Take a listen to the latest "Fact or Fiction" podcast where 6 burning topics are debated throughout the show. Check out a rundown of the topics to be debated on the show.

Fact or Fiction:

*Landry Jones played with heart and passion against but he just doesn't have the tools to be anything better than a #3 QB.

*If Ben Roethlisberger's absence is felt most on offense, Ryan Shazier's presence is most critical on the defensive side of the ball.

*The time is now to move Karlos Williams from the Practice Squad to the roster of 53.

*Both teams at full-strength in a playoff scenario, the Patriots still beat the Steelers

*Justin Gilbert should be able be the long-term answer when it comes to kick returning duties

*At 4-3 with nine games to play, there is very little if any margin for error from this point on to achieve a first-round bye in the playoffs.

Bonus Fact that has nothing to do with the Steelers, but is still fun to debate:

*With the upcoming bye week, the Steelers get a much needed vacation. The  best "vacation-themed/time-off/road trip movie" is Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
