The Pittsburgh Steelers are in a predicament. What is the solution to this problem they now face? Well, it dpends on who you ask.
What is the problem itself? The team's cornerback depth chart is now in disarray after Senquez Golson went down with a Lisfranc injury on Monday at training camp practice.
The Steelers moved rookie safety/cornerback Sean Davis to the slot to cover Golson's reps with the starters, but is he a long-term solution? Should the Steelers look to bring in a free agent, or possibly make a trade like they did in 2015 when acquiring Brandon Boykin from the Philadelphia Eagles? Is moving Artie Burns into a starting role a smart decision, and what about Doran Grant?
The team could certainly stay the course, trust the coaching staff, and mainly Davis, to get the job done, but will it be good enough? Should they do more? I debate this, and give my thoughts on the entire situation, on the latest BTSC on Demand Facebook Live video.
