2008 2nd round draft pick Limas Sweed has been ruled out for Sunday's game in Chicago. Sweed will be replaced by Veteran Shaun McDonald who did not suit up during Week 1. This really opens up the door for Mike Wallace to show we he can do.
This could be good news for Steelers fans in terms of shutting down the short passing game of the Bears. Matt Forte is certainly a concern for Steelers fans in the passing game, and Timmons' excelled closing speed should help minimize his abilities. Timmons does admit that he is not yet 100% but hopes to be soon. I have said it before and will say it again, I would be much more comfortable with Timmons and Polamalu taking their time to make sure that they are 100% before returning to action.
"There’s no reason for him to worry about doing a Lambeau Leap because, unfortunately, every time he talks about what he’s going to do, he gets no opportunity to do (it)," Lewis said. "It’s better, as they say, let’s underpromise and overproduce." Marvin Lewis on Chad Johnson---sounds like he wants to be Tomlin there at the end

I've never thought that Vince Young's production has come even close to matching the media hype (especially from the slobbering idiots on ESPN), but this story from ESPN.com today put him in a different light. Very classy move.
Pretty good sit down with the Steelers O-Line after the Tenn Game.
Kendra is not Vick fan. Never was and never will.
Sigh. It looks like we may miss Timmons for another game. Sweed also left practice with a minor injury.
good news for a lot of people this week - notable exceptions are Broncos country and most of California.
