Steelers inquired today on free-agent CB Darrelle Revis. Unrealistic. Sounds like it's down to Jets and Patriots.

Give the Steelers credit, they are said to have made at least one phone call prior to the start of free agency.
ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted Tuesday, after perhaps the most exciting first hour of free agency in the history of the process, the Steelers put in a call to free agent cornerback Darrelle Revis.
Schefter's report suggests the Steelers got the answer most would have expected; his asking price is a bit out of range for the Steelers, and their paltry sum of cap space.
At least they tried.
And in some cases, they're still considered contenders.
Four teams in running for Revis besides the #Patriots: #Jets, #Packers, #Steelers and mystery team.

Despite the "mystery team" nonsense (all 32 NFL teams are incorporated and well-known), they might still be considered lightly "in the running."
No, we aren't sure if we're even buying it anymore.
They haven't been tied to any other free agents thus far in the first two hours of free agency, but there's plenty of time before free agency Day 5, when the Steelers typically give another player a call.
The signings of Arthur Moats and Matt Spaeth are likely to be the bulk of their expenditures in terms of players without contracts in 2015, and with a quarterback in need of an extension, it appears, for now, Steelers fans don't need to worry about missing sleep tonight.
