The Pittsburgh Steelers' offensive players have racked up some hardware this season, and Ben Roethlisberger and Le'Veon Bell have been the main recipients of those awards.
Roethlisberger was awarded the FedEx Air Player of the Week award for his 350-yard, three-touchdown performance against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday in the Steelers' 42-21 victory. This marks the third time this season Roethlisberger has been awarded the Air Player of the Week award.
Bell also brought home a FedEx award, but his was the Ground Player of the Week award in recognition of his 185 yards rushing, 50 yards receiving and three-touchdown performance (2 rushing, 1 receiving) against the Bengals. This also was Bell's third time winning the Ground Player of the Week award.
Each time a Steelers player wins the award, FedEx donates $2,000 dollars to the local area Red Cross chapter of the greater Pittsburgh area. Bell and Roethlisberger have brought a total of $12,000 to the Red Cross through their performances this season.
