Ben Roethlisberger's record setting year continues to roll on as he was recently awarded the FedEx Air Player of the Week award for the fourth time this season. Roethlisberger's 4 wins is higher than any other quarterback who's been nominated for the award. His previous 3 awards came in Week 8, 9 and 14 of the 2014 NFL season.
Roethlisberger was given the award for his Week 15 performance against the Atlanta Falcons where he through for 360 yards and finished with a passer rating of 109.2.
Along with the prestige of being named the FedEx Air Player of the Week award winner, FedEx graciously donates $2,000 dollars to the local area Red Cross chapter of the greater Pittsburgh area. Roethlisberger alone has been resposible for $8,000 dollars donated to the worthy cause.
The FedEx Ground Player of the Week award was given the Cincinnati Bengals running back Jeremy Hill for his 148 yard 2 touchdown performance against the Cleveland Browns in Week 15.
