Bengals vs. Steelers odds: Pittsburgh opens as three-point home favorites in AFC North championship game

The game is for the AFC North title but both teams have clinched playoff berths leading into it.

Betters are remembering the 42-21 hurting the Steelers put on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 14. Or they're simply going with the home team in what is shaping up to be a very competitive division championship game between two playoff-bound teams.

The Steelers are favored by three points in Week 17 against the Bengals, despite Cincinnati's impressive playmaking performance in a 37-28 win over the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football to end Week 16. Pittsburgh defeated Kansas City, and both teams punched playoff tickets after their victories.

Pittsburgh ran the Bengals out of their own stadium in Week 14, racking up multiple big plays in the second half. They got a lead and ground the Bengals' fatigued run defense down over the game's final quarter. Running back Le'Veon Bell had 185 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while adding another 50 yards in receiving yards. Ben Roethlisberger threw three touchdown passes and 350 yards in the win.

Steelers roll Bengals, here are seven key plays from the 42-21 win.

It will be the second straight year the Bengals and Steelers play on Sunday Night Football in Pittsburgh. The Steelers knocked off the Bengals 30-20 in front of a prime time crowd in Week 15 last season. The Steelers would use that win, along with a win at Green Bay and against Cleveland in the season's final three weeks to position themselves for a playoff berth they wouldn't reach.

It's a different story this year. The winner of the Steelers and Bengals game will take the AFC North championship. It would be the first for the Steelers since 2010, and the Bengals would be repeat champions, after having clinched their third consecutive playoff season.
