Pittsburgh Steelers 3-point favorites in AFC Wild Card game vs. Baltimore Ravens

The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Baltimore Ravens at Heinz Field Saturday in an AFC Wild Card matchup. The early line on the game has the Pittsburgh Steelers as 3-point favorites to win the game.

This will be the third meeting between Pittsburgh and Baltimore, as the division rivals split their regular season series. In Week 2 at M&T Bank Stadium on Thursday Night Football, the Ravens bested the Steelers 26-6, but it was in Week 9 when the Ravens came to Heinz Field when Joe Greene's number was retired where the Steelers got the best of the Ravens 43-23.

Each team winning one game, each win by the margin of 20 points. Makes the upcoming playoff game even more intriguing than normal. Throw in the fact the Ravens have never defeated the Steelers at Heinz Field in the playoffs and that equates to the 3-point swing in the Steelers' favor.

Both teams are dealing with injuries heading into the postseason. The Ravens' secondary has been ravished with injuries while the Steelers faithful watched Pro Bowl running back Le'Veon Bell leave the game after injuring his right knee in the season finale against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Putting it simply, fans of a hard hitting and vicious rivalry game shouldn't expect anything less when the Ravens and Steelers do battle one last time in 2014.
