According to NBC 6 in Miami, the alleged victim of the incident has decided to sue both Maurkice Pouncey and twin brother Mike Pouncey of the Miami Dolphins for injuries during an altercation at the Cameo night club.
The victim claims that the Pouncey brothers taunted him while celebrating their 25th birthday, and after that, it got worse.
"From there someone grabbed me, and I got hit...Somebody lifted me up and dragged me out of the club. I was being beat up, I was being punched and kicked. A bottle hit me."
The victim of the incident claimed on social media that he was punched, has a chipped tooth and a laceration that needed 10 stitches for it to be closed. Along with the physical punishment, the victim also claims the Pounceys used gay slurs during the altercation.
This incident doesn't seem to be going away any time soon, and as both NFL linemen prepare for their respective training camps it couldn't come at a worse time. Maurkice with added pressure after signing a hefty six-year contract extension making him the highest paid center in the NFL.
