Pittsburgh Steelers center / guard David Snow suffered a fractured foot early in training camp that will require surgery. Due to the severity and timing of the injury, the Steelers have put Snow on the waived / injured list.

With that roster move, the team was able to acquire another player, and they chose the undrafted rookie free agent running back, Josh Harris.

Harris played his four seasons in the NCAA at Wake Forest in the ACC.

In 2013, Harris rushed for 470 yards with a 3.8 yards per carry average and four touchdowns. Throughout his four seasons with Wake Forest, Harris rushed for a total 2,230 yards and 19 touchdowns.

Harris will wear the jersey number 40 with the Steelers and will join a stable of running backs that will make it extremely difficult to make the final roster.

The Steelers had the day off today from training camp, but practices will resume Wednesday at 3 p.m ET.
