To be blunt, Seattle looks as unstoppable as any team in the NFL. They're easily the favorites to go all the way, and their first test looks, on paper, more like a warm-up than anything else.
Carolina will have to battle the most balanced team in the NFL, and find a way to establish their run-heavy offense in a manner of keeping Seattle's run game off the field. Carolina won the NFC South with a 7-8-1 record, which is nearly unheard of in the playoff era of the NFL, but blew up over their last two games, outscoring Atlanta and Arizona (in the Wild Card round of the playoffs) 61-19.
The Seahawks, who will be without defensive tackle Jordan Hill (5.5 sacks in the team's last six games), are the league's best defensive team, have allowed just 57 points in their last five games.
