In what's perhaps the best match-up available in the NFC, the Cowboys, fresh off a controversial win over the Lions in the Wild Card round, are in Green Bay to take on the second-seeded Packers.
The winner will head to Seattle face the Seahawks in the NFC Championship game.
A tale of two talented offenses, the Packers are quick to score, led by All Pro (and possible league MVP) Aaron Rodgers, while the Cowboys are more balanced and methodical. The two contrasting styles should make for an excellent match-up in what's expected to be a dry but not overly cold day game.
Look for Dallas to want to establish NFL rushing champion DeMarco Murray behind the league's best offensive line, and Green Bay, despite the cold, will get the most they can out of their passing attack with a hobbled Rodgers, who suffered a calf injury in the team's Week 17 win over the Lions.
For the first time in NFL history, an 8-0 road team (Cowboys) will face an 8-0 home team (Packers). That only adds to the intrigue behind the two franchises who played in the mythical Ice Bowl game in 1967 - the Packers won that on a one-yard Bart Starr touchdown run in a game played in temperatures of 13-below zero.
