Stop me if you've heard this storyline before. A Pittsburgh Steelers player or coach is a potential candidate to go out West to join the Arizona Cardinals.
Yes, it has happened again, but this time it is recently resigned defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau.
As reported by Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Cardinals' head coach Bruce Arians has had talks with LeBeau about him joining the Cardinals staff.
Nothing further was released, but it would be assumed the Cardinals would be looking for LeBeau to fill the vacancy they have at the defensive coordinator position. LeBeau made it very clear to media when he left the Steelers he wasn't retiring from coaching, but simply calling it a career with Pittsburgh.
It didn't take long for a team to look into LeBeau as a defensive coordinator, and Arians could be just the first of many coaches interested in bringing LeBeau on their staff, but no one should be shocked the team referred to as 'Steelers-West' was the first team to pick up the telephone.
