Dick LeBeau will not be joining #azcardinals staff, per source. don't know his plans. Arians still expected to fill DC job from within

In what seems like an episode of a daytime drama television show, the future of former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau remains as cloudy as ever. After weeks of speculation on LeBeau's appointment to the Arizona Cardinals' coaching staff, a report from Kent Somers of azcentral.com states LeBeau will not be joining Bruce Arians' staff as once thought.
What started with reports of LeBeau heading out west to take over the defensive coordinator position vacated by Todd Bowles turned into stories that he would join the staff in some sort of consultant role. There were other reports that he would be joining the Cardinals as a linebackers coach. Then Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that LeBeau would not coach without being a coordinator, and that report seems to be on point.
One has to wonder if LeBeau holding out for a coordinator position might make teams hesitate before bringing in the 77-year-old coordinator, despite all the success he experienced in Pittsburgh.
As the Steelers prepare for an off-season with Keith Butler at the helm of the defense, LeBeau continues his search for another NFL job.
