Cleveland Browns CB Joe Haden praises Steelers WR Antonio Brown

Browns' CB Joe Haden is one of the elite defensive backs in the NFL, and gave Steelers' WR Antonio Brown some praise during a radio interview prior to the Super Bowl.

Fans always have their opinions of matchups. Who is better, who got the best of whom and so on, but it is certainly different to hear those similar thoughts coming from NFL players when referring to their peers.

This exact scenario happened when Cleveland Browns CB Joe Haden joined ESPN Radio's SVP and Russillo on Wednesday leading up to the Super Bowl. When asked who 'got' Haden in 2014, there were only two names listed: Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown and New Orleans Saints TE Jimmy Graham.

"Antonio Brown and Jimmy Graham caught a touchdown on me." Haden stated. "Antonio is so good when Ben [Roethlisberger] breaks the pocket. He is the best at running the second route."

High praise from not only an AFC North division rival, but also from a player who has a fierce competitive spirit, especially with Brown.

It is Haden who will shadow Brown wherever he goes on the football field taking the one-on-one matchup while trying to remove the threat from his side of the football field.

In 2014, Brown caught 5 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown in the Week 1 victory over the Browns, and followed that up with 7 catches for 118 yards in the Week 6 loss to the Browns in Cleveland.

Haden vs. Brown is a matchup fans will get to see for years to come if both players stay with their respective teams for the duration of their career, and I'm sure both Haden and Brown will be working extra hard this offseason to one-up one another in 2015.
