The Pittsburgh Steelers were coming off a heart breaking defeat to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4. A game most thought the Steelers should have won, but didn't, and the team fell in the latest Power Rankings because of the defeat which dropped their record to 2-2.
The Steelers rebounded in a big way against the San Diego Chargers with one of the more dramatic victories in recent memory as Le'Veon Bell scored the game-winning touchdown with a tough one-yard run to give Pittsburgh the 24-20 victory. The win moved their record to 3-2, and working on a short week with the 4-1 Arizona Cardinals coming to Heinz Field in Week 6.
In the latest SB Nation Power Rankings, they have the Steelers moving up in the rankings, albeit just one spot to No. 8. Take a look at what they had to say about the Steelers' "walk-off" win on Monday Night Football.
So, how about that walkoff wildcat run by the Pittsburgh Steelers and Le'Veon Bell? That's as ballsy a call by Todd Haley as you may see this season, and it's a savior for a team that really needed it. Ben Roethlisberger is due back soon and the Steelers are still in the hunt.
The road doesn't get much easier for the Steelers as they host the Cardinals this Sunday, travel to play the Kansas City Chiefs and host the Cincinnati Bengals in their next three games.
Ben Roethlisberger is on the mend, and although he may not return in the next two weeks, if the Steelers can continue to find ways to win, regardless of how ugly it may be, the Steelers will continue to climb the rankings and turn themselves into a legitimate contender.
