NFL Power Rankings: Despite loss, Steelers remain in the Top 10

The Pittsburgh Steelers record is back to .500 after a difficult overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football. Despite the loss, see how the Steelers remained in the Top 10 in the latest Power Rankings.

The Pittsburgh Steelers could easily be 3-1 heading into a Week 5 Monday Night Football game against the San Diego Chargers, but after a deflating loss to the Baltimore Ravens in overtime on Thursday Night Football the Steelers are 2-2 and right in the middle of the pack in the AFC and AFC North.

The Steelers, despite the loss, were still able to remain in the Top 10 in the latest SB Nation Power Rankings, in large part due to many teams in the top of the standings also suffered a loss in Week 4. Nonetheless, the Steelers remain the second ranked team in the AFC North division being placed 9th in the Top 10. The 4-0 Cincinnati Bengals are ranked 3rd and tops in the division, and after the Steelers at 9th the Baltimore Ravens rank 21st, and the Cleveland Browns acting as the caboose ranked 26th.

The Steelers are now faced with a difficult West coast trip against the Chargers, but the team has reason to be excited about the opportunity which awaits in San Diego. Martavis Bryant, the electric second year wide receiver, will be returning from suspension after a 4-game ban for breaking the NFL's substance abuse policy, and the team looks to also get Ryan Shazier and Daniel McCullers back in their defensive lineup on Monday Night Football as well.

Injuries aside, the loss to the Ravens still stings with many fans in the vast fan base of the Steelers, but the season is far from over. According to these Power Rankings, they are still seen as a Top 10 team, and when Ben Roethlisberger returns the team could propel themselves to a second consecutive playoff berth.

SB Nation's Top 10:

1. New England Patriots
2. Green Bay Packers
3. Cincinnati Bengals
4. Denver Broncos
5. Atlanta Falcons
6. Carolina Panthers
7. Arizona Cardinals
8. New York Jets
9. Pittsburgh Steelers
10. Seattle Seahawks
