The Pittsburgh Steelers were able to defeat the Oakland Raiders 38-35 in Week 9, ending their two-game losing streak and putting them back into the AFC Playoff picture. However, the victory came at a cost when Ben Roethlisberger injured his left foot mid-way through the fourth quarter when being sacked by Aldon Smith. Landry Jones was able to close out the game, but glaring questions remain for this offense moving forward.
Nonetheless, in the latest SB Nation Power Rankings, the Steelers recovered from their skid and found themselves back where they belong, in the top 10. After their Week 8 loss to Cincinnati, the Steelers were ranked 13th, but rebounded to 9th after their most recent victory.

Meanwhile, in the AFC, the Jets and Steelers bounced back with big wins of their own. It wasn't pretty, and Jacksonville shot themselves in the foot a few different times, but New York held off the Jags at home to improve to 5-3 and get that much-needed "W". They're still in good shape in the AFC Wild Card hunt.
The Steelers are too, with their win over the Raiders, putting them a half-game ahead of Oakland in the Wild Card race while also giving them a key tiebreaker they may need down the road. The win didn't come cheap though, and Ben Roethlisberger will miss at least one game, maybe more, with a foot injury.
As for the AFC North, Cincinnati remains the class of the division, ranked 2nd, but it is the Baltimore Ravens who have leap-frogged Cleveland and are now ranked 26th, while Cleveland is ranked 29th and in last place of the AFC North division.
The Steelers won't have Ben Roethlisberger at their disposal this week, but when the team hosts the Cleveland Browns at Heinz Field, the hope is Landry Jones is able to steer the ship to victory as the team heads into their Week 11 bye week.
