The Pittsburgh Steelers have a huge fan in rapper Snoop Dogg. Known for his repetitive rants against offensive coordinator Todd Haley on social media, Snoop Dogg has claimed to be a member of Steelers Nation for years, despite often being spotted wearing other jerseys at events in other locations.
However, after the Steelers beat the Oakland Raiders 38-35 to move their record to 5-4, it was Snoop Dogg who wanted to honor a player who absolutely exploded against Oakland at Heinz Field. How exactly did Snoop pay homage to Antonio Brown? By having Brown's face painted on a pair of shoes.
The description on Snoop's tweet showing the shoes states there are 84 reasons why he would put Brown on a pair of shoes, 84 clearly being Brown's jersey number.
Brown's day Sunday was worthy of having his face put on shoes, t-shirts, mugs and cereal boxes. Brown had 17 receptions for 284 yards and 2 rushes for 22 yards for a staggering total of 306 yards from scrimmage. Here is to hoping Snoop puts more players on apparel, and less rants against coordinators for the remainder of the 2015 regular season.
