Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers got a laugh in 2014 when Green Bay got off to a slow start to the season and he told the fan base to, "R-E-L-A-X". The team ended up rebounding and nearly making the Super Bowl last year before losing to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship game.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off their own loss to Seattle in Week 12 in 2015, and the 6-5 record for Pittsburgh has them on the outside looking in at the current AFC Playoff Picture. The message sent to Steelers fans everywhere was subtle, and delivered from a rare source, but doesn't make the message any less poignant.
Right tackle Marcus Gilbert took to his Instagram account with a photo of a Steelers offensive huddle with a simple caption. Check it out:
Keep calm. Such a simple statement, but one which is certainly valid for all fans of the Steelers after a tough loss. The Steelers didn't help their cause with their most recent loss, but the season is far from over. The team has shown tremendous potential on both sides of the football, and the question now remains whether the team can put it all together in the final 5 games of the season and make the postseason for the second consecutive season. Only time will tell if that is possible.
