Outcome of the New York Giants vs. Miami Dolphins game could result in Steelers Week 16 game being flexed

Mark Zerof-USA TODAY Sports

Many fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers have been wondering if the schedule Week 16 game at M&T Bank Stadium vs. the Baltimore Ravens will be flexed out of the current Sunday Night Football time slot. The answer has arrived, and it depends on the outcome of the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins Monday Night Football game in Week 14.

Per reports, if the Giants defeat the Dolphins, they will play the Minnesota Vikings on December 27th on Sunday Night Football and the Steelers game would be moved to a 1:00 p.m. kickoff. If the Giants lose, or tie, the Dolphins on Monday Night Football, the Steelers vs. Ravens game will remain a prime time game.

The Steelers and Ravens are typically a lock for two prime time games, but with the Ravens already securing a losing season with a 4-9 record, there isn't much luster to the game, except for the Steelers needing the victory to make their final push to the postseason.

This news now gave Pittsburgh Steelers fans everywhere a reason to watch Monday Night Football.
