Cincinnati Bengals can clinch AFC North with win over Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 14

The Pittsburgh Steelers are playing for the postseason in Week 14, but for the Cincinnati Bengals they are playing for a chance to clinch the AFC North division crown.

Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

There was the Vontaze Burfict hit on Le'Veon Bell which caused a stir in the Pittsburgh Steelers locker room, especially with Vince Williams.

There was the perfectly clean hit by Mike Mitchell on Marvin Jones which caused Jones to call Mitchell "fake tough"after the game.

After both teams called the other dirty following the game, what you have is a hugely anticipated AFC North showdown between the Steelers and Bengals in Cincinnati in Week 14. If all of the above weren't enough to stoke the fire of this burning rivalry, the fact the Bengals can clinch the division title with a win should add extra fuel to the fire.

The division is Cincinnati's for the taking regardless of the outcome of Week 14, but for the Steelers not allowing them to celebrate after sweeping the division series should add extra motivation for the team. Not that the Steelers should need any extra motivation.

At 7-5 the Steelers are in the No. 7 position in the AFC Playoff Picture, and a victory on the road will do more than just stop Cincinnati from clinching the AFC North title, it will greatly improve their odds of making the playoffs themselves. The Steelers final four games are daunting as they play the Bengals in Cincinnati this week, followed by a home game against the Denver Broncos and back-to-back road games at the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns.

There is no love lost between these two teams, and if you are a fan of hard-hitting grudge matches, you might want to tune into this game Sunday at 1:00 p.m. EDT. There will be plenty on the line for both teams.
