Steelers Antonio Brown wins AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Antonio Brown wins yet another award, this time for his special teams performance in the Steelers 45-10 win over the Colts on Sunday Night Football.

It didn't take a lot, not even four quarters, for Antonio Brown to bring home another piece of hardware. After being named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for the month of November, Brown followed it up with AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors in Week 13 after his 71-yard punt return for a touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts ended in him jumping into the field goal post as a celebration.

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed Jacoby Jones to relieve Brown of his job as a punt returner, but after two fumbles in the game, one on a kickoff return and another on a punt return, Jones was taken off the field for the remainder of the game. The only return for Brown was a dazzling run up the middle for a score which capped off Pittsburgh's 45-10 victory in Week 13.

The punt return for a touchdown was Brown's 4th of his career, but only the first against a team not named the Cincinnati Bengals. Such a fact should make Steelers fans smile knowing the Bengals are the Steelers' next opponent on the schedule, and Brown has been re-inserted as punt returner due to Jones' demotion.

Maybe Brown has something up his sleeve for Cincinnati this week. If he does, the celebration could be legendary.
