Friday night 5 questions and open thread

New, comments

It's Friday night and it's time to party here in our rambling and scattered questions and open thread.

David Manning-USA TODAY Sports

It's been quite the (frozen) week here in the Burgh, but temps are looking to jump all the way into the 40s (wahoo!) next week. We live for the little things.

Speaking of little...little, as in value, toward alleged comments coming from ex-Steelers receiver Mike Wallace about allegedly being interested in re-joining the Steelers. That ship has sailed, Mike, and you know that.

Anyway...we're here to answer some questions, talk some stuff and kick off the weekend the right way. The rules are the same as always, you must announce your drink (including orange Gatorade), no discussion regarding the rule of the Ottoman Empire and you must answer our begs for money.

1. Was the Steelers' decision to restructure the contracts of Mike Mitchell, Marcus Gilbert and Maurkice Pouncey (not finalized yet, per reports) wise, risky or stupid?

2.. Assuming he signs and both players play 16 games next season, which Steelers outside linebacker will have more sacks, Jarvis Jones or Arthur Moats?

3. Josh McCown had interesting coming from Buffalo and Cleveland. The Browns offer a run-based offense with a wide receiver who's likely to miss the entire 2015 season and a tight end who wants out of Cleveland, not to mention the fact they drafted a quarterback (for as bad as he is) in the first round last year. Buffalo has an impressive group of young receivers and one of the most likable coaches in the league. Why did he choose Cleveland?

4. Complete this sentence: Ben Roethlisberger will sign a contract with _________ in guaranteed dollars.

5. Pick one free agent on the market you want to see the Steelers at least pursue.
