Pittsburgh Steelers' Mike Tomlin ranked 6th among all 32 NFL head coaches

The Pittsburgh Steelers are the model of consistency in terms of the men who have held the title Head Coach since the late Chuck Noll. See where the current coach ranks among all 32 NFL teams.

When CBSSports.com's Pete Prisco decided to rank all 32 head coaches in the NFL, you had to figure Pittsburgh Steelers' Mike Tomlin would be near the top of the rankings. Turns out, Prisco agreed, ranking Tomlin 6th among all current head coaches.

Tomlin has bounced around lists like this before, sometimes being one of the top coaches among the 32 viable options. However, due to Tomlin's lack of postseason appearances and victories over the past few seasons, he has fallen a bit in the eyes of many, not just Pete Prisco.

Here is what Prisco had to say in regards to Tomlin's ranking:

6. Mike Tomlin, Pittsburgh Steelers -- He has one Super Bowl title and another AFC championship. He has four division titles in eight seasons and five seasons of double-digit victories. His winning percentage is .641, fourth best among active coaches and significantly better than the .566 of Steelers coaching legend Chuck Noll.

Tomlin's ranking is pretty spot-on in my opinion. To give you an idea of coaches he was ranked ahead of: Sean Payton of the New Orleans Saints, Bruce Arians of the Arizona Cardinals, Andy Reid of the Kansas City Chiefs and Chuck Pagano of the Indianapolis Colts.

Here is a look at the top 5 coaches, according to CBSSports.com:

1. - Bill Belichick - New England Patriots
2. - Pete Carroll - Seattle Seahawks
3. - Mike McCarthy - Green Bay Packers
4. - Tom Coughlin - New York Giants
5. - John Harbaugh - Baltimore Ravens
