Pittsburgh Steelers Friday night 5 questions and open thread

New, comments

The Steelers are on sabbatical until July 25th when they report to training camp. Luckily for you, BTSC doesn't take any breaks. Time for the Friday night 5 questions and open thread.

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

It is Friday, the Pittsburgh Steelers have wrapped up their offseason workouts and it is time to discuss what happened the past few weeks before the team reports to training camp on July 25th at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. You know the rules: state your beverage for the evening, answer the questions in the comment section below and for the love of all thing holy please refrain from talking about Deflategate.

Let's get this party started right...

1. Earlier this week the Sporting News ranked Mike Tomlin 9th among all 32 NFL teams. Two part question: Is this ranking high or low, and do you feel Tomlin's early career success was more in part of Bill Cowher's past players or do you give the credit to Tomlin?

2. Earlier today DeAngelo Williams stated he and Le'Veon Bell could make up the best backfield in the NFL. For this statement to come to fruition, how many combined yards will the duo have to rush for in 2015?

3. Markus Wheaton is finding a home in the slot of the Steelers' offense. Taking over for the ineffective Lance Moore, how many touchdowns do you see Wheaton hauling in this season?

4. The team now goes on hiatus until they report to training camp on July 25th. Even though the players aren't present doesn't mean the organization won't be active. Of the players who could be re-signed prior to this season, rank the following in the order of importance: Cameron Heyward, David DeCastro, Kelvin Beachum, William Gay, Ramon Foster

5. Father's day is this weekend, and anyone who has had a father be a large part of their lives, or has been lucky enough to be a father...what is your favorite Steelers memory of you and your father?

Enjoy the weekend, Father's day and the U.S. Open golf championship. FORE!

Go Steelers!
