The Pittsburgh Steelers know how to throw a party, and it is always on the right date. The team announced Wednesday they will honor Jerome Bettis with a hall of fame ring ceremony during the Thursday Night Football game against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4.

The news of this ceremony will surely not sit well with Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, who had previously petitioned the league to not play prime time games in Pittsburgh. In 2014, the Ravens were a part of another party when the team retired "Mean" Joe Greene's No. 75 at halftime of the game, and Ben Roethlisberger proceeded to throw 6 touchdown passes against the rival Ravens.

Maybe the Steelers honoring Bettis will be just what the doctor ordered for the team to again get the upper hand on their division rivals, as the AFC North continues to be the most competitive division in the NFL. If one thing is for certain, Bettis will certainly have the crowd in a frenzy when he is honored - in a way only 'The Bus' knows how.

UPDATE: As pointed out by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Ray Fittipaldo, Bettis selected the Ravens game, just as Greene did in 2014 for his ceremony.
