New, comments

The Pittsburgh Steelers continue their work this offseason in their Organized Team Activities. Get caught up with anything you might have missed in the team's 5th session.

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Steelers continued their work in the 2015 offseason with their 5th Organized Team Activities (OTAs) session today. Although the newness of offseason workouts has worn off, there are still plenty of stories stemming from these sessions. Be sure to get caught up on everything Steelers related with our daily recap.

No Gold Star for you Steelers!

The Steelers had been sporting perfect attendance at OTAs (minus Sammie Coates' participation at the NFLPA's Rookie Premiere), but that changed Wednesday when James Harrison and Ryan Shazier were absent at the session. OTAs are voluntary workouts, by the way.

Steelers have some prestigious NCAA Guests Wednesday

The Steelers had two NCAA head coaches at their OTA session today. One had to walk down the stairs and another had to travel from State College. Head coaches James Franklin of Penn State and Pat Narduzzi of Pitt took in practice, and of course got a picture taken with Coach Tomlin.

Cameron Heyward knows about that other Cam who got paid

Cam Heyward is in the final year of his rookie contract, and he is looking for a new deal which will keep him in Pittsburgh for years to come. Don't think he didn't hear about Cam Jordan's 5-year $60 million dollar deal. However, for Mr. Heyward, that Cam is the only Cam he is worried about.

Training Camp Logo?

In case you missed the BTSC story about the logo the Steelers released today for the team's 50th visit to St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. Not a bad for a logo developed for training camp.
