Pittsburgh Steelers cancel Monday's on-field OTA, will resume offseason schedule Tuesday

As predicted, the Steelers have cancelled their on-field Organized Team Activity today, and will resume work Tuesday.

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Steelers traditionally give their players a day off during the final week of their Organized Team Activities (OTAs), and the tradition continues Monday as the team has cancelled their on-field workout scheduled for today, per Chris Bradford of the Beaver County Times.

The cancellation does not mean there will be no team activities, simply that it won't be the traditional OTAs which have run the past two weeks. Often times the cancelled workout equates in a fun activity for the players as a team-building activity.

Check out the remaining schedule below of all off-season workouts before training camp begins towards the end of July.

Phase Three / OTAs
Week 3: June 8th (Cancelled), June 9th, 10th, 11th

Mandatory Minicamp
June 16-18

Upon the completion of minicamp, there is approximately one month for the players before reporting to St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA for training camp. This will be the 50th year St. Vincent has been the host of the Steelers' annual training camp.
