Pittsburgh Steelers Friday night 5 questions and open thread

I am back in the saddle with the weekly meeting of Steelers faithful. Take a stab at these 5 questions open thread before training camp starts in 8 days...let that sink in...

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Steelers have just eight days until they report to St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA on July 25th. This has always been a date I circle on my calendar as I await the photos of super-sized men carrying pillows, TVs and gaming consoles into college dormitories like I did back in the day.

As I'm sure you all are as excited as I am, it feels good to be back in the saddle with the 5 questions open thread. So, you know the rules: State your beverage, answer the 5 questions to the best of your ability and have mercy on my soul for using a photo of Tim Tebow on Tony Defeo's article on left-handed quarterbacks earlier in the week...

Let's get this party started right!

1. Jerome Bettis gets inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this Summer. He had to wait longer than most thought. Who do you think will be the next Steelers player to be enshrined in Canton, OH following 'The Bus'?

2. The Pittsburgh Steelers re-signed Cameron Heyward Thursday to a 6-year extension. I haven't talked to, or read a comment, anyone against the move. If you are in the front office and have a say on who gets a new deal next, who is it and why?

3. Of all the potential training camp battles about the ensue, which unknown player has the best chance to make a name for themselves in camp (a la Isaac Redman) and possibly make the team's 53-man roster?

4. Looking at the 2015 Steelers schedule, which game scares you the most, and why?

5. With the amount of talent on the Steelers roster, and the lack of depth at several positions, which offensive AND defensive player can the teams afford to lose to injury for any extended amount of time?

Pretty straight forward questions this week! Have a great weekend folks and look forward to a new feature to be unveiled next week as a lead-in to training camp! Go Steelers!
