NFL Power Rankings: Pittsburgh Steelers barely crack top 10 in latest rankings

The Pittsburgh Steelers are in full swing as their training camp reaches week 2, yet as Steelers Nation is poised for what could be a break out season, the folks at CBSSports don't necessarily agree.

As the Pittsburgh Steelers prepare for their first taste of competition next Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings in the Pro Football Hall of Fame game, the rest of the NFL is just starting to report to training camp. As this takes place, the fine folks at CBSSports.com have released their Training Camp Power Rankings, and where the Steelers rank might ruffle some feathers.

CBSSports has the Steelers at No. 10 in their Power Rankings, and behind both the Cincinnati Bengals (9th) and Baltimore Ravens (5th). See what they had to say about the Steelers spot on the rankings:

10 - Pittsburgh Steelers

The defense is a work in progress, but the offense should be able to carry the team in the first half of the season. They have plenty of stars on that side of the ball.

Talk about in-depth analysis, but are the Steelers really the 3rd best team in the AFC North heading into the regular season? I, for one, certainly don't think so. Every team has weaknesses, and the Steelers' defense is the most glaring on their roster currently, but to be behind two teams with very similar weaknesses certainly leaves one scratching their head.

Looking to add some fuel to the fire? Take a look at CBSSports' top 10:

1. Green Bay Packers
2. New England Patriots
3. Seattle Seahawks
4. Dallas Cowboys
5. Baltimore Ravens
6. Denver Broncos
7. Indianapolis Colts
8. Arizona Cardinals
9. Cincinnati Bengals
10. Pittsburgh Steelers

Plenty of fodder there for debate and discussion. The one great aspect of this list is there is only just over a month before the speculation of what teams will look like ends, and the rubber meets the road. As Bart Scott would say, "Can't wait!".
