Who doesn't love a friendly prop bet? I know I sure do, and this is one of the main reasons why I love playing the Over/Under prop bet game with the 2015 Pittsburgh Steelers. Contrary to this game, which has been a part of BTSC for some time now, these numbers are straight from the Bovada Sports Book in Las Vegas, NV.
Prop bets can be a number of different things. Prop bets can be placed on which color Gatorade is thrown on the head coach who just won the Super Bowl. You can place a prop bet on whether the coin flip will land heads or tails before the Super Bowl. Yeah, there are a lot of prop bets; however, today's game will focus on Over/Under and all about the Pittsburgh Steelers.
How do you play? Simple. You look at the number suggested by Bovada, and say whether you would take the over, suggesting the player would exceed that number, or you pick the under, which suggests the player won't exceed the number provided. Okay, enough talk, let's get to it:
Ben Roethlisberger - Total Passing yards in the 2015 Regular Season - Over/Under 4,400
Ben Roethlisberger - Total TD Passes in the 2015 Regular Season - Over/Under 29
Ben Roethlisberger - Total Interceptions in the 2015 Regular Season - Over/Under 12
Le'Veon Bell - Total Rushing Yards in the 2015 Regular Season - Over/Under 1,050
Le'Veon Bell - Total Receiving Yards in the 2015 Regular Season - Over/Under 600
Le'Veon Bell - Total Rushing & Receiving TD's in the 2015 Regular Season - Over/Under 10
Antonio Brown - Total Receiving Yards in the 2015 Regular Season - Over/Under 1,350
Antonio Brown - Total Receiving TD's in the 2015 Regular Season - Over/Under 9.5
Okay Steelers fans, time to put your fake money where your mouth is and step up to the betting window to place your bets. Some intriguing propositions are listed above, especially in regards to Le'Veon Bell as those numbers are all based on him missing the first two games due to suspension. Don't forget Antonio Brown seeing increased defensive pressure with the absence of Martavis Bryant for the first quarter of the season.
Decisions, decisions...time to place your bet.
