The #Steelers signed OL B.J. Finney to their practice squad & released OL Barrett Jones.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have made a transaction with their practice squad, and it was by releasing OL Barrett Jones and signing OL B.J. Finney to the 10-player practice squad. Finney, an undrafted rookie free agent from Kansas State, spent the entire preseason with the Steelers before being cut as the team trimmed their roster down to the 53 mandated by the league.
A transaction such as this one could mean a player was injured, and needed to be replaced on the team's practice squad. Finney brings a versatility along the offensive line as he is capable of playing center, as well as both guard positions within the interior of the line.
The Steelers roster will likely continue to change after their Week 4 game against the Baltimore Ravens as Martavis Bryant will be returning to the team, which will force a player to be released from the 53-man roster.
