The Pittsburgh Steelers made a roster transaction, and it involved one of their 2015 draft picks.
Another draft pick makes it: Steelers sign rookie LB Anthony Chickillo from practice squad, cut rookie DE C. Lyons

As reported by Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the team promoted their 6th round draft pick, Anthony Chickillo from their practice squad, and to sign him to the team's 53-man roster they created room by waiving defensive end Caushaud Lyons. Lyons, a rookie who was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was acquired the same day as Ross Cockrell after the team navigated their way to their 53-man roster
The promotion of Chickillo could point to the fact another team might have wanted to sign him off the Steelers' practice squad. By promoting Chickillo, it prevents any other NFL team from possibly signing the former Miami Hurricane DE/OLB.
As for Lyons, the team seems very interested in bringing him back on the 10-man practice squad if/when he clears waivers.
"@Dienekes_Sparta: @BobLabriola @steelers wow, Lyons didn't last long"Practice squad after he clears waivers a real possibility
