NFL News: St. Louis Rams moving back to Los Angeles

The St. Louis Rams will once again be the Los Angeles Rams, and they might not be the only team headed to Los Angeles.

The city of St. Louis, Missouri is losing its NFL team and the city of Los Angeles is gaining one, maybe two. The San Diego Chargers also have an option to move to Los Angeles as a partner to the Rams or a tenant.. If they do not act by January 16, 2017, the Oakland Raiders have a year to decide if they want to become the Los Angeles Raiders.

The Rams played in California from 1946 until 1994, and will return to the city for the 2016 season. Their Inglewood, California stadium will not be ready until the 2019 season, however. While they are waiting for their stadium to be built, the franchise could play at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, a former home to both the Rams and the Chargers. The Rose Bowl and Dodger Stadium are other possibilities.

The Rams also played in Cleveland from 1937 to 1945, but many consider the team's return to Los Angeles a homecoming. Meanwhile the city of St. Louis is mourning the loss of their team. Here are some reactions to the news on Twitter.
