Austin McNew is a 17-year-old high school junior whose life was changed during a sledding accident in Indiana that left him paralyzed. His community has raised over $7,000 through #McNewStrong t-shirt sales, and countless friends and well-wishers have reached out to boost the teen's spirits.
Wide receiver Antonio Brown found out about the accident on Twitter after several people tweeted at the Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver, asking if he would visit McNew. Brown was eager to help.
Hey @AntonioBrown84 this teen is a huge fan of yours! He'd love to hear from you! Watch: https://t.co/y26Mlx14oR pic.twitter.com/VJ15zNADBQ

Brown called McNew and also wished him well on Twitter. Though McNew is recovering from a serious injury, he took the time to express concern about Antonio Brown's recent concussion.
