There was supposed to be a trio of Pittsburgh Steelers heading to the Pro Bowl this Sunday, but due to injuries, David DeCastro is the lone representative for the black and gold.
Originally, Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown would be flanking DeCastro, but with Roethlisberger still recovering from a shoulder injury, and Brown still feeling the effects of a concussion, the two withdrew from the game.
Wednesday night, the Pro Bowl captains selected their teams, and DeCastro was selected by Michael Irvin as a guard for 'Team Irvin'.
Looks like @michaelirvin88 knows the importance of the big guys. David DeCastro will block for #TeamIrvin. pic.twitter.com/am3f8dvEVk

The Pro Bowl will be played this Sunday, and fans of the Steelers will be watching the game to keep tabs on DeCastro. Not so much for his performance, but holding their breath hoping their lone Pro Bowl attendee doesn't experience an injury in such a meaningless contest.
