Steelers one of three teams who are odds-on favorites to win Super Bowl 51

The Pittsburgh Steelers were a game away from being in the AFC Championship game, and this with an injury plagued lineup. Looking at their potential roster in 2016, there is no surprise they are one of three teams favored to be in Super Bowl 51.

The Pittsburgh Steelers overcame injuries to All-Pro players, and the most difficult schedule in the NFL, to still finish the 2015 season with a 10-6 record claiming a Wild Card spot in the AFC Playoffs. When looking at their potential roster in 2016, if the team could have a bit more fortune with their health, they could be one of the more intimidating offenses the NFL has seen in the past few seasons.

Not to overlook the defense, but the offense has the personnel to carry the team to new heights in 2016. How high are the odds makers thinking the Steelers could fly next season? They are one of three teams who are the odds-on favorites to win Super Bowl 51 next year.

According to the Las Vegas Super Book, the Steelers, New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks currently have 8/1 odds of winning the Lombardi trophy next season.

What might come as a surprise to many, the two teams who will play in Super Bowl 50 in just over a week, the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos, are not in the Top 5, in terms of odds to win Super Bowl 51.

Here are the Top 10, based off the early odds, to win Super Bowl 51:

Pittsburgh Steelers - 8/1
New England Patriots - 8/1
Seattle Seahawks - 8/1
Green Bay Packers - 10/1
Arizona Cardinals - 10/1
Cincinnati Bengals - 12/1
Carolina Panthers - 12/1
Dallas Cowboys - 14/1
Denver Broncos - 20/1
