It has been a long road for the prized free agent of the Pittsburgh Steelers Ladarius Green. Coming off ankle surgery, he wasn't ready for training camp, had to suffer through reports of concussion-like symptoms, and wasn't cleared to return off the PUP list when he was medically cleared.
That is, until now.
Steelers web site says Ladarius Green will practice today, the first of two practices this week before mandatory four-day break for bye.

The Steelers don't have to allow Green to play right away, in fact, they have 21 days before the team must activate him, release him or put him on the injured reserve list.
Ladarius Green remains on #Steelers Reserve/PUP List & can practice up to a max. of 21 days before team must either activate/return to IR. https://t.co/vcdrYWKtrr

Green's participation isn't certain yet, but it certainly is headed in the right direction. If he can practice these two days, then coming off the bye week, it would be a huge first step to him being just another weapon on the team's overall offensive arsenal which is already considered one of the best in the NFL.
