When the NFL announced how every NFL team will be wearing a Nike "Color Rush" uniform in 2016, some fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers became enamored with the new threads and forgot all about their traditional 1934 throwback uniforms.
Well, for those who forgot, the team will be wearing those beautiful bumblebee uniforms this Sunday in Week 5 when the New York Jets come to Heinz Field for a big AFC matchup.
The #Steelers will wear their 1934 throwbacks this Sunday against the Jets. They are 3-2 in the uniforms.

As reported by Missi Matthews of Steelers.com. the Steelers are 3-2 while wearing those throwback uniforms, and those losses have come against the Baltimore Ravens, and, most recently, the Cincinnati Bengals in 2015.
The Steelers will hopefully continue their winning ways in the "bumblebee" jerseys with a win over the New York Jets in Week 5. It would be a fitting send off for the uniforms, as it has been reported the team will be looking at a new throwback uniform for the 2017 season. Love them or hate them, the 1934 throwbacks certainly have been a conversation starter since Isaac Redman donned them for the first time in front of the media.
