The Pittsburgh Steelers have had some serious injures this season, but they have been relatively healthy the past few weeks. Although they avoided the major injury against the Indianapolis Colts on a short week in Week 12, head coach Mike Tomlin said there were some “bumps and bruises” which occurred during the game.

The injuries mentioned were Mike Mitchell, who suffered a stinger in the first half, Ramon Foster, who suffered some type of ankle injury and Javon Hargrave ho had some sort of hand injury during the course of the game.

Although these injuries are not thought to be of the serious variety, the team will have plenty of time to heal up before they host the New York Giants at Heinz Field in Week 13.

After playing on a short week the Steelers now have almost a full 10 days off before their next game. The team will travel back to Pittsburgh tonight, and will have the weekend to rest and relax before getting back to work next week. Mike Tomlin will address the media, and update the injury news, at his regularly scheduled press conference on Tuesday at noon.
