The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens. Just typing that adds at least 4 players per team to their Week 10 injury reports due to the physical nature of these football games over the years. Heading into Week 9 game there are plenty of marquee players who were missing time before they both shared a bye week in Week 8.
In Pittsburgh, Ben Roethlisberger, Cameron Heyward and Marcus Gilbert were the names who were missing before the bye, but are now back on the practice field in preparation for the trip to Baltimore.
Terrell Suggs, Marshall Yanda and Steve Smith Sr. were players who were out for Baltimore, and are hopeful to get all on the field when they host the Steelers at M&T Bank Stadium Sunday.
Looking in-depth at the Steelers injury report, there was plenty of good news for the black and gold. Heyward, Gilbert and Roethlisberger all returned to the practice field, Heyward and Gilbert were full participants while Roethlisberger was limited. Although Roethlisberger wasn’t listed as a full participant in practice, if he can practice again Thursday, without a setback, he is setting himself up for a return to the field since being injured in Week 6.
Other good news was Markus Wheaton, Antonio Brown and Shamarko Thomas all being listed as full participants after Wednesday’s practice.
