DeAngelo Williams meets Steelers greats during Super Bowl week

DeAngelo Williams might not be a long tenured player within the Steelers organization, but don't think he hasn't realize what it means to wear the black and gold in his short time with the team.

When the Pittsburgh Steelers acquired running back DeAngelo Williams from the Carolina Panthers as a free agent, they knew they were getting a proven veteran who could fill in for Le'Veon Bell if he were lost with injury. Unfortunately, that situation came to fruition when Bell was lost for the season with a knee injury, and Williams filled in admirably in his stead.

Williams has openly talked about how he loves the city of Pittsburgh, his teammates and being a part of one of the largest fan bases in all of sports. In other words, you can say Williams is hooked on being a part of the Pittsburgh Steelers. After spending the week in Santa Clara for Super Bowl 50, Williams got to experience the depth of wearing the black and gold by running into some living legends along the way.

Take a look at the picture Williams posted on his verified Instagram account after the NFL Honors award ceremony Saturday night.

Awesome meeting these Steelers legends at NFL Honors last night...
