Life is bigger than the game of football, and the entire NFL community felt that more than usual when news of Baltimore Ravens cornerback Tray Walker passing away Friday sent shock waves throughout the community.
Walker, a 4th round draft pick for Baltimore from Texas Southern who played in 8 games as a rookie, died from injuries suffered in a dirt bike accident in Miami, Florida. He was 23-years-old.
News like this goes beyond the color of your jersey, who is your favorite team and which organization you can stand the least. Despite the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens bitter rivalry, a 23-year-old young man lost his life Friday, and the Steelers certainly have Walker's family and the Ravens organization in their thoughts and prayers.
BTSC also extends their condolences to the Walker family, the Ravens organization and our SB Nation Ravens site Baltimore Beatdown.
Praying for the family and friends of Tray Walker. Praying that they find peace and understanding. God bless them.
