2016 NFL Schedule to be released Thursday at 8:00p.m. EDT

The 2016 NFL Schedule will be unveiled Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. EDT.

There are small events which get NFL fans from the offseason to the regular season. NFL Free Agency starts the new league year, the NFL Draft and the release of the new NFL schedule certainly all help pave the way for the 2016 regular season which always seems to be here before you know it.

Although the NFL repeatedly played the "This is the announcement of the announcement of the announcement of the NFL Schedule being released" game, the league finally put an end to the speculation with the NFL releasing all 32 teams' schedules Thursday April 14th at 8:00 p.m. EDT.

For the Pittsburgh Steelers, there are a lot of aspects of the schedule to keep an eye on. The highest priority would be divisional games, most importantly those against the Cincinnati Bengals. Vontaze Burfict is suspended for the first three games of next season, and it will say a lot about the league if they have the two teams face off for the first time in Week 4, or if they schedule the game in the first three weeks of the season.

The schedule is the appetizer for the NFL Draft, but I think I can speak for all fans when I say this news is certainly something to bide time until the latest prospects become members of the NFL.
