Pittsburgh Steelers 2016 Schedule: NFL releases this year's official slate of games

The Pittsburgh Steelers don't have as tough a schedule in 2016 as they did in 2015, but as the NFL schedule has been released, there will be challenges along the way.

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

The time has finally come when the NFL released the 2016 schedule for all 32 teams. The opponents have been known since the final game was complete in Week 17 of 2015, but how the games fall on the schedule is more than just noteworthy.

It was in 2015, when the Pittsburgh Steelers were awarded the NFL's toughest schedule when they saw a post-bye week stretch which resembled murderer's row. Before fans get out on the ledge when looking at this year's schedule, remember how that murderer's row panned out. Andrew Luck was hurt, Peyton Manning didn't play, and AJ McCarron filled in for Andy Dalton in the last quarter of the season.

So, without further ado, time to over-analyze the 2016 Steelers schedule.
